General Surgery Chair, Department of Surgery - Burlington, MA** 17m from Boston Position Details We are seeking a visionary physician leader to serve as Chair of the Department of Surgery. This vital role oversees clinical, academic, strategic, and operational functions across all surgical services in a major academic medical center. Position Details

  • Lead strategy, innovation, and quality initiatives across surgical disciplines
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop top surgical talent
  • Oversee performance, patient safety, and department operations
  • Foster collaboration across departments and affiliated sites
  • Support and grow research and scholarship
  • Contribute to medical education, residency training, and teaching missions
