Hand and Wrist Specialist opening in KY Located in Bowling Green Full Time Position An established, high-volume outpatient orthopedic practice is seeking a fellowship-trained Hand and Wrist Specialist to join its multidisciplinary team. This position offers a shareholder track opportunity, a collegial work environment, and strong clinical support, with a well-established referral base. Position Overview: The incoming physician will provide comprehensive care for hand and wrist conditions in an outpatient setting. Surgical procedures will be performed in our on-site or affiliated ambulatory surgery center. The ideal candidate will possess excellent surgical skills, efficient patient management, and a commitment to providing the highest quality of care. Qualifications: MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery (or Plastic Surgery with Hand Fellowship) Completion of an accredited Hand Surgery Fellowship Eligible for Kentucky medical licensure Strong surgical technique, excellent patient communication, and team collaboration skills Key Responsibilities: Comprehensive evaluation and treatment of hand and wrist conditions Perform common procedures, including carpal and cubital tunnel release, Dupuytren’s release, finger amputations, and more Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care Common Procedures Performed in Practice: Carpal and Cubital Tunnel Release Excision of Cyst Dupuytren’s Release Finger PIP Joint Debridement and Mass Excision Finger Amputations Nailbed Repair and Pinning Extensor Tenosynovectomy with Tendon Transfer Ligament Repair Why Choose This Practice: Competitive base salary with productivity incentives Shareholder track opportunity Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, and malpractice coverage) CME allowance and paid time off Community Overview: The practice is located in Bowling Green, KY, a dynamic and rapidly growing university town.
