Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive cardiothoracic surgical care in both hospital and clinic settings
- Perform a range of cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
- Participate in call coverage as scheduled
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Additional Information
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Must have an active Alaska medical license and DEA
- Cardiac Surgery Certification - Adult (CSC) required
- Prior experience in cardiothoracic surgery is essential
