Clinic Hours & Schedule
- Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Call Schedule: Up to 10 days per month, as per hospital by-laws
- Average Patients Per Day: Approximately 25
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Competitive $695,000-$898,000
- Sign-On Bonus / Relocation Assistance: $50,000
- CME Allowance: $5,000 annually plus 5 days of CME leave.
- Insurance: Comprehensive medical insurance, dental, vision, life/AD&D, short- and long-term disability.
- Retirement Plans: 403(b) and 457 plans with employer contributions.
- Paid Time Off:
- Vacation: 25 days annually.
- Sick Leave: Accrued with an IAP plan to supplement.
- Holidays: 7 days annually.
- CME Leave: 5 days annually.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification in General Surgery
- Eligible for medical licensure in Alaska
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
