Job description
We are seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified General Surgeon with fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care for a short-term locum tenens opportunity in Arizona. This role will involve managing surgical ICU patients as well as trauma cases in a hospital setting during night coverage.
Location: Arizona
Start Date: November 25, 2025
Pay Rate: $300 – $320/hour
Assignment Length: 4 nights (with potential for additional dates)

Schedule:
- November 25–28, 2025
- Night shifts: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- No call coverage required
Requirements:
- BE/BC in General Surgery with fellowship in Surgical Critical Care
- ATLS active certification
- Level I or II trauma experience
- Active Arizona medical license and DEA
- Comfortable working with all patient age groups, including pediatrics
- Experience working independently and collaboratively with advanced practice providers
