We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage in West Virginia. The need begins in August 2025 and is ongoing, including coverage over major holidays. This role offers a balance of scheduled clinic hours and call responsibilities, working within a collaborative team environment.

Job Responsibilities
📞 Participate in call coverage in rotation with other providers
📋 Manage patient care in both elective and urgent/emergent cases
🤝 Collaborate with nursing staff, advanced practitioners, and surgical team
💻 Document encounters using EMR (MediTech)
Qualifications
🩺 Active West Virginia medical license (or willingness to obtain)
📑 Clean professional record, eligible for temporary privileges if needed
💼 Previous locums or hospital-based surgical experience preferred
Working Hours
📅 Start: August 4, 2025
🔄 Ongoing need with dates available throughout the year
