Job Summary:
St. David’s Healthcare would like to recruit a practicing general/trauma surgeon to join a busy group of four surgeons in private practice at our level II trauma facility in Round Rock, Texas.Qualified Candidates:
- Joining a well-established group with exclusive coverage of trauma and acute care surgery at a Level II ACS certified Trauma Center
- Board certified/board eligible trauma/critical care surgeon or an experienced 3+ years general surgeon with extensive trauma experience preferred
- Licensed in the state of Texas or ability to obtain
- Trauma and Critical care fellowship trained required
- Robotically trained preferred
- Mainly trauma, option to add elective
- Start Date: ASAP
- Call: 1:5, 6 - 24 shifts per month trauma/acute care surgery
- Supervision and teaching as faculty at Texas A&M Health Science Center Medical School optional
- Private practice model, salary comes from call pay and elective practice minus overhead
