• 24-hour hospital call coverage
Oct 31st 7AM – Nov 1st 7AM
Nov 26th 7AM – Nov 28th 7AM
• Potential for Level I trauma call
• Management of emergent surgical cases, including but not limited to:
o Appendectomies
o Cholecystectomies
o Upper and lower endoscopy
o Food bolus removals
o Gastrointestinal (GI) bleeds
o Chest tube placements
o Peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) lines
o Incision and drainage (I&D) procedures
o Additional general surgery cases as necessary
• Evaluation and stabilization of accident and trauma cases; transfer as needed
• Rounding and consultations on hospitalized patients
