General Surgery - No Call in California
Looking for an engaging locums assignment in California? We have an immediate, ongoing need for a skilled General Surgeon to provide crucial coverage. This is an excellent opportunity to make an impact while maintaining a desirable work-life balance.
Highlights
- No call required for this assignment
- Immediate need with ongoing coverage through the end of 2025

- Open to Board Certified General and Cardiothoracic Surgeons
Practice Setting
- Inpatient medical setting
- Work with an onsite CVT for heart cases
- Typical volume of 5 adult patients per shift
- Support staff includes 1 MA and 3 office staff
Schedule
- Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM for procedures only
- Enjoy evenings and weekends free from work
- Temporary coverage needed through December 2025
Procedures and Cases
- First assist to onsite Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgeon for heart cases
Requirements
- Board Certification in General Surgery or Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Active California medical license
- Minimum of 24 months of experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
Credentialing Requirements
- Temporary privileges available for a swift start
