Perm Thoracic Surgeon – Program Builder
Location: Columbus, OH | DaVinci Xi | Medical Director Pathway
Compensation: Competitive base + signing bonus + relocation
Position Overview
A leading health system in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Board-Certified or Eligible Thoracic Surgeon to help build and lead a growing thoracic surgery program. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated surgeon looking to make a lasting impact, with a clear path to a Medical Director role.
Role Highlights

General thoracic surgery (benign & malignant – no transplants)

Mix of surgical and clinic work, Monday–Friday schedule

DaVinci Xi robot available for minimally invasive procedures

Rotating weekend call

Work alongside 18 pulmonary/critical care physicians and a dedicated tumor board

Full APP and multidisciplinary support

EPIC EMR | Level II Trauma Center
Candidate Requirements
Board Certified/Eligible in Thoracic Surgery (within 2 years)
Fellowship in Thoracic Surgery – Required
OH medical license or eligibility – Required
ACLS, DEA, clean malpractice/license history
