Required Skills:
- Valid medical license in Arizona or ability to obtain licensure
- Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
- Proven experience in general orthopedic procedures
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior locum or outpatient clinic experience
- Experience with Cerner EMR system
- Ability to handle a high patient volume effectively
- Familiarity with surgical procedures typical for general orthopedic cases
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of post-residency clinical experience
- Proven track record in orthopedic surgical practice
Other Requirements:
- Competitive hourly pay rate, with specific rates including malpractice coverage, orientation, holidays, night shifts, and on-call rotations (rates to be confirmed upon application)
- Availability to start as soon as credentialed, ideally within 90 days or sooner
- Must be willing to work 2-4 weeks per month, with shifts ranging from 8 hours and extended call duties
- Credentialing with other facilities is not required
- No travel arrangements specified; support staff on-site includes MAs, RNs, and administrative personnel
