Required Skills:
- Valid medical license for Arizona
- Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery
- Proven experience in general orthopedic procedures
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Cerner
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous locum or temporary coverage experience
- Additional certifications in orthopedic subspecialties
- Experience in outpatient clinic and surgical settings
- Familiarity with Prescott healthcare facilities and community
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO)
- Minimum of 3 years post-residency orthopedic practice
- Prior experience with clinic and surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work varied shifts including Monday through Friday and call coverage
- Willingness to travel as needed; accommodations provided
- Credentialing with facilities prior to start date (ASAP or sooner)
- Must be able to start as soon as credentialed, with flexible scheduling to accommodate multiple weeks per month
