We are seeking a committed and compassionate General Surgeon to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a rural Michigan setting. Job Responsibilities
Perform a broad range of general surgical procedures utilizing advanced technology
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff
Participate in clinical meetings, care planning, and quality improvement initiatives
Provide regional surgical support, including travel between designated locations
Engage in outreach efforts to improve community access to surgical services
Contribute to academic initiatives through medical education opportunities
Qualifications
Board-certified or board-eligible (within 5 years of residency) in General Surgery – Required
Active Michigan medical license or eligibility to obtain – Required
Willingness to travel regionally between designated practice sites – Required
Working Hours
Shift(s) Description: Full-time clinical schedule with responsibilities across outpatient, inpatient, and OR settings.
