We are currently seeking a Board-Certified General Surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage. This is a hospital-based opportunity offering a diverse surgical case mix, trauma coverage, and ongoing monthly shifts. Join a dedicated team providing essential surgical services in a community hospital setting.
Job Responsibilities
Call Ratio: 15–20 calls per 24-hour period
Daily Case Volume: Approx. 10 surgical cases per day
EMR: Epic
Patient Population: Adults age 18+, with pediatric cases referred out
Qualifications
BLS, ACLS, and ATLS Certified – Required
Active Ohio Medical License – Required (no IMLC accepted)
Clean credentialing file – Mandatory
Recent case logs – Must provide documentation of operating experience within the last 12 months
