Job description A full-time General Surgeon is sought to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to rural Michigan with support from a regionally renowned health system.

Job Description:
  • Deliver comprehensive general surgical care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Perform a broad range of general surgical procedures, leveraging advanced technology and facilities
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including advanced practice providers and fellow surgeons
  • Participate in clinical meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and care planning
  • Provide regional surgical support, including travel between Cass City, Marlette, and Saginaw as needed
  • Engage in community outreach to improve accessibility to surgical services
  • Work in state-of-the-art surgical environments at Aspire Hills & Dales and Covenant HealthCare
  • Support educational initiatives with opportunities to teach through Central Michigan University’s medical programs
