Job Opportunity: Orthopaedic Surgeon in Brattleboro, VT
Join a dynamic team at a leading community healthcare provider in southern Vermont! We are seeking a full-time Orthopaedic Surgeon to become part of a thriving Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine team. This position offers a rewarding practice environment with a special focus on hand or foot and ankle surgery, access to advanced robotic technology, and the chance to enjoy life in the heart of the picturesque Green Mountains.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive orthopaedic care, with a special focus on hand or foot and ankle surgery.
- Work in a hospital-based outpatient clinic setting.
- Treat a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, referring multi-trauma cases to tertiary care.
- Utilize MAKO robotic surgical technology in state-of-the-art, dedicated OR suites.
- Collaborate with a supportive team of 3 Orthopaedic Surgeons and 4 Physician Assistants.
- Manage an average of 25+ patients per day.
- Participate in a 1:4 general ortho call rotation.
- Use Cerner Community Works as the EMR platform.
- Enjoy dedicated OR block time and opportunities for clinical growth.
Qualifications:
- Board certified or board eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.
- Clean malpractice history.
- Subspecialty Certificate in Surgery of the Hand or Foot and Ankle is highly preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Vermont License (must be obtained prior to start).
- DEA (must be obtained prior to start).
- CPR certification (must be obtained prior to start).
- BLS certification (must be obtained prior to start).
