🩺 General Surgery w/ Surgical Critical Care
📅 Dates Needed:
-
🗓️ August: 9–13, 17–19, 23–25, 29–31
-
🗓️ September: 5–21 (continuous), 23
🕔 Shifts: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shifts Only)
🚨 Setting:
-
🔟 Bed Surgical ICU (SICU)
-
🏥 Trauma Level I or II Facility
🧠 Role Overview:
-
Manage SICU patients + Trauma patients in step-down & floor units
-
Nights = solo SICU/Trauma coverage (daytime Acute Care Surgeon goes home)
-
👨⚕️ Must collaborate well with NPs
-
🖥️ Required to document in EMR directly (no scribes)
-
🧒 Must be comfortable treating all ages, including pediatrics
✅ Requirements:

📜 BC/BE in General Surgery + Surgical Critical Care Fellowship
-
🩸 ATLS active
-
🏥 Level I or II trauma experience
-
🪪 AZ license + DEA required
-
💬 Strong communication & teamwork skills
