Job Opportunity: Full-Time Neurosurgeon in Saginaw, MI

Covenant HealthCare is on the lookout for a dedicated full-time Neurosurgeon to join our high-performing surgical team at a state-of-the-art 650-bed acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center located in Saginaw, Michigan. This facility is renowned for providing exceptional healthcare services and is equipped with advanced technologies to support a wide range of surgical procedures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform a full range of cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures
  • Collaborate with neurologists, neurointerventional radiologists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care
  • Interpret advanced diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT, angiograms) to guide clinical decision-making
  • Provide consultations, assessments, and follow-up care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Participate in the teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Deliver patient-centered care with professionalism, empathy, and high surgical standards
  • Practice at a Level II Trauma Center, with access to advanced facilities and support services
  • Accept H-1B Visa Only

Qualifications

  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board-certified or board-eligible (within 5 years of residency) in Neurosurgery
  • Proven expertise in performing neurosurgical procedures with excellent surgical skills
  • Active Michigan license (or in process of obtaining)
  • Must require H-1B visa support

License and Certification Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Active Michigan medical license
  • DEA (must be obtained prior to start)
  • CSR/CDS (must be obtained prior to start)
  • Copy of most recent NPDB Report (within 30 to 60 days active)
