Job Title: Permanent Physician - Neuroendovascular Surgery

Join a leading healthcare facility in Saginaw, Michigan, as a full-time Neurosurgeon with neuroendovascular training. This position is part of a multidisciplinary neuroscience team within a 650-bed hospital and Level II Trauma Center. Work alongside experienced neurosurgeons and neurologists, utilizing state-of-the-art facilities and advanced neuroimaging technology.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Join a robust and expanding neurosciences program.
  • Perform a range of neurosurgical procedures, with a preference for candidates trained in neuroendovascular surgery.
  • Serve in a high-volume emergency department with approximately 100,000 visits per year.
  • Collaborate in a Primary Stroke Center pursuing Comprehensive Stroke Center designation.
  • Participate in stroke rehabilitation through a partnership with Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital.
  • Contribute to medical education and mentorship opportunities, if desired.
  • Deliver care in a culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and patient-centered outcomes.
  • Note: Visa sponsorship not available (No J-1 or H-1B visas accepted).
  • Not accepting Locums candidates.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurological Surgery.
  • MD or DO degree.
  • Proven expertise in performing cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures.
  • Fellowship training or experience in neuroendovascular surgery is highly preferred.
  • Active Michigan medical license or in the process of obtaining.
  • DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start.
  • Recent NPDB report within 30 to 60 days.

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Active Michigan medical license (or in process of obtaining).
  • DEA certification.
  • CSR/CDS certification.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurological Surgery.
