Join Our Team as a Thoracic Surgeon in Columbus, OH
Facility Overview: We are part of a renowned health system in Columbus, Ohio, dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services. We are seeking a dedicated BC/BE Thoracic Surgeon to develop and expand our thoracic surgery program in response to growing demand. Our facility is equipped with a DaVinci Xi robot and supported by a multi-disciplinary tumor board, ensuring a state-of-the-art practice environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of general thoracic surgery, except transplantation.
- Engage in a mix of surgical cases and outpatient visits.
- Participate in a Monday to Friday schedule with weekend call rotation.
- Provide consultative hospital service with dedicated APP support.
- Contribute to program development to meet patient needs in thoracic surgery.
- Collaborate with a large referral base within medical groups and community partners.
- Utilize the EPIC documentation system for patient management and records.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 2 years) in Thoracic Surgery.
- Fellowship-trained in Thoracic Surgery.
- Clean malpractice and license history.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA certification (or ability to obtain).
