Join Our Team as a Thoracic Surgeon in Columbus, OH

Facility Overview: We are part of a renowned health system in Columbus, Ohio, dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services. We are seeking a dedicated BC/BE Thoracic Surgeon to develop and expand our thoracic surgery program in response to growing demand. Our facility is equipped with a DaVinci Xi robot and supported by a multi-disciplinary tumor board, ensuring a state-of-the-art practice environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform all aspects of general thoracic surgery, except transplantation.
• Engage in a mix of surgical cases and outpatient visits.
• Participate in a Monday to Friday schedule with weekend call rotation.
• Provide consultative hospital service with dedicated APP support.
• Contribute to program development to meet patient needs in thoracic surgery.
• Collaborate with a large referral base within medical groups and community partners.
• Utilize the EPIC documentation system for patient management and records.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 2 years) in Thoracic Surgery.
• Fellowship-trained in Thoracic Surgery.
• Clean malpractice and license history.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain).
• ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
• DEA certification (or ability to obtain).
