Job description
Hospital in southwestern Virginia is seeking a qualified BE/BC General Surgeon who shares the same philosophy in being able to accommodate patients at home and not transfer them out of the area for their care.
Opportunity Details:
- General bread & butter surgery experience and advanced laparoscopic skills are required
- Minimally invasive skills a plus
- If board-eligible, board certification must be completed within five years of completion of residency for all candidates
- The draw area serves a population of 75,000 to 100,000 which includes southwestern Virginia and southeastern Kentucky
- There is a local 10-physician primary care network to supply patient referrals
- This expansive service area of Southwest Virginia and Southeastern Kentucky holds huge potential
