Job Opportunity: Neurosurgeon in Pueblo, Colorado

We are seeking a dedicated Board-Eligible/Board Certified Neurosurgeon to become part of our collaborative team. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in an underserved community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key member of a collegial team consisting of one Neurosurgeon and four experienced APPs.
• Manage an average of 8 to 12 patients per day in clinic, with additional support from 3-4 PAs.
• Perform surgeries in a facility that supports trauma level 3, with neuro-navigation tools including Globus Robot and Stryker available.
• Handle ER calls averaging 7 days per month, with imaging review from home and minimal in-person requirements.
• Participate in a flexible work schedule: 2 days in clinic, 2 days in OR, and 1 flex day.
• Opportunity to build a strong elective spine practice.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible through the ABNS.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a dedicated team.
• Strong focus on patient care and community health.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Valid Colorado medical license (or willingness to obtain).
• Clean malpractice record.
• DEA registration must be obtained prior to start.
