Join Our Team: Board-Eligible/Board Certified Neurosurgeon

We are actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Neurosurgeon to join a collaborative and respected Neurosurgery group in beautiful Pueblo, Colorado. This is an exceptional opportunity to become part of a practice that prioritizes patient care within a supportive and collegial environment, featuring a team of one other neurosurgeon and four experienced advanced practice providers (APPs). The facility serves a high-demand community and offers advanced neuro-navigation tools, including the Globus Robot and Stryker systems, to ensure exceptional care for patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality neurosurgical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Conduct an average of 8 to 12 patient consultations per day, supported by 3-4 PAs.
• Engage in surgeries in the operating room, scheduled for two days per week.
• Participate in ER call, averaging 7 days per month, with imaging review from home.
• Provide call coverage over weekends, likely once a month.
• Build a strong elective spine practice in a community with significant needs.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and electronic medical records.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible in Neurosurgery through the ABNS.
• A commitment to working toward Board Certification within 4 years.
• Experience or training in general neurosurgery.
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented and patient-focused environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Colorado medical license or willingness to obtain.
• Clean malpractice history.
• DEA registration (must be obtained prior to start).
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within the last 30 days).
