- General Surgery Call for ER/Trauma and Inpatient Coverage.
- Level 3 Trauma Certified facility. No outpatient Clinic.

**Requirements**
- Minimum Board Certification: Eligible
- The Following Certifications Are Required: ACLS, ATLS, BLS

**Specialty Skills Required**
- General Surgery skills include laparoscopic surgeries such as appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, Nissen fundoplication.
- Proficient in head/neck surgery, chest wall/pleural procedures, breast surgery, obstetric & gynecologic surgeries including Cesarean section, D&C, and hysterectomy.
- Skills in upper and lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy.
- Experienced in minor orthopedics, hand surgery, ventilation management, chest tube insertion, central line insertion, PA catheter placement.
- Additional procedures for physicians trained as pediatric surgeons include surgeries for artesias (esophageal, intestinal, biliary), abdominal wall defects (gastroschisis, umbilical defects, hernia, omphalocele), diaphragmatic hernia, imperforate anus, PDA ligation.
**Additional Information**
- Level 3 Trauma Certified facility.
- No outpatient Clinic.
- General Surgery Call for ER/Trauma and Inpatient Coverage.
- Emergency privileges are an option.
