One of our clients in NC needs assistance with a General Surgery locum tenens coverage. Here are some of the details.
Location: East of Aulander, NC.
Facility:114-bed Hospital
Coverage Dates: August-Ongoing
Practice Details: Call, Nights & Weekends, Not required to remain on-site while on call, Average # patients/day/provider: 7-8, Average # admissions/day: 1-2, Average # admissions/night: 1-2, # Surgical cases per month: 50
Procedures Required: Appendectomy, strangulated hernias, cholecystectomy, I&Ds, procedures that will be emergencies.
EMR: EPIC (HealthSpan)
Must be NC licensed, BLS, PALS, NRP, and Board Certified
Malpractice, travel, and credentialing are taken care of on your behalf.
