A level two trauma center with 32 beds in the department is seeking a general surgeon for locum tenens coverage.
Hike in the Organ Mountains, explore White Sands National Park, visit the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum, and enjoy the local cuisine in Old Mesilla.
The position entails call duty along with rounding. The clinician will be responsible for rounding on 7-10 patients per shift, with 0-5 admissions and 0-4 phone consults. The EMR system used is Medhost. Temporary privileges are available for clinicians with a clean record.
