Locums – Red Bluff, California, General/Trauma Surgery Opening
- Clinical Role:

- May 25-28 (ending 29th am)
- June 10-13 (ending 14th am)
- 24hr call 7a-7a
- Setting: Hospital Based Setting for General and Trauma Surgery
- Level III Trauma
- Single ED Call schedule
- Duties: 100% ED call coverage. Full GS, Trauma privileges needed
- Must do scopes
- Required Procedures: Endoscopy required since we have no local GI. Number of scopes varies (hit and miss) maybe two a week but likely fewer to none
- EMR: Cerner
- Support Staff: The staffing after hours and on weekends/holidays (Call Team) is 1 CRNA, 1 RN, 1ST and 1 Recovery Room Nurse. Assistants for the surgeons not provided.
- Normal working hours staffing is 1 CRNA, 1 RN and 1 ST. Based on the acuity of the patient case, a second scrub tech may be provided to help retract. Assistants for the surgeons not provided
- Reason for Coverage: Adding more providers to pool for gaps in coverage
- Board Certification – Required
- Active CA License – Required
