- Clinical Role:

- 7/1/24 – 7/1/25
- 7-10 days per month
- Looking for some intermittent call coverage for general surgery; Also have robotic surgery program (Da Vinci)
- Setting: Hospital (Critical Access Hospital)
- Duties: Take call; cover inpatients for general surgery
- FTE: PRN 2-4 days per month of call coverage
- Required Procedures: Basic laparoscopic procedures, including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, bile duct appendectomy, closure of intestinal perforations, biopsy and hernia repair.
- EMR: Meditech
- Support Staff: None
- Reason for Coverage: FT surgeon on a LOA
- 0-2 Admissions per day, Patients/day, Types of cases, Disclosures that may need to be made, etc.
- How many patients seen per 24-hrs: 0-1
- How many admissions per 24-hrs: 0-1
- % of hands on: 10-20%
- GS responsible for rounding on assigned/unassigned/both patients
- 2-4 Average daily census in Med Surg for rounding
- 0-2 Average surgeries per shifts
- Annual ER Volume: 10,000
- Board Certified in General Surgery with Bariatric Experience
- Active MN State License – Required (Site will consider candidates with IMLC)
- BLS - Required
- Bariatric Experience - Preferred
