One of our clients in MN needs assistance with a General Surgery locum tenens coverage. Here are some of the details.
Location: Northern, MN.
Coverage Dates: JULY-Ongoing
Schedule: 7-10 shifts per month, Weekend Requirements: 24- Hours on Call (8am-8am) Friday to Monday, 24- Hours on Call (8am-8am) Friday to Monday.
Practice Details: Take call; cover inpatients for general surgery. Average patients seen in 24 hr. period: 0-1.Average daily census in Med Surg for rounding: 2-4. Average surgeries per shift: 0-2
Required Procedures: Basic laparoscopic procedures, including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, bile duct appendectomy, closure of intestinal perforations, biopsy and hernia repair.
Setting: Inpatient, Hospital
EMR: Meditech
Must be MN licensed or IMLC, BLS, and Board Certified in General Surgery.
Malpractice, travel, and credentialing are taken care of on your behalf.
