General Surgery with Scopes Call Coverage | Locums Job in Western Arizona | 100% 24-Hour Call Coverage (No Clinic)

Located on the western Arizona border, facility is seeking a General Surgeon (who does scopes) to assist with locums 24-hour call coverage.

REQUIRED for consideration: NPDB report and physician case logs

Job Requirements for Assignment #101769:
-- Western Arizona border - about an hour and a half south of Las Vegas, Nevada (closest airport to fly into)
-- Active Arizona medical license required + an active Arizona DEA
-- Board Certification or eligibility within five years
-- 24-hour call coverage shifts to include daily patient rounding, 7am-7am start and end time
-- Average 7-9 patients per day, 6 or less admissions per day
-- Upper and lower scopes are a requirement
-- 125+ bed facility, 12 beds in the department, level 4 trauma center, Allscripts EMR
-- Cases to expect: Adenoidectomy, amputation of leg, above/below knee, Appendectomy, Biliary Surgery, Bowel Surgery, Breast Excisional Surgery, Breast Reconstruction, Burn Care, chest Tube Insertion, Diagnostic Laparoscopy, Excision Skin and Subcutaneous Mass, Esophagogastroduodenoscopy, Exploratory Laparotomy for trauma or illness, Ganglion, Excision of, Hernia Repair, Hysterectomy, IV Catheter Placement, Oophorectomy, Pancreas Surgery, Parathyroid Surgery, Peritoneovenous Shunt, Pyloromyotomy, Skin Grafting, Thyroid Surgery, Tonsillectomy, Tracheotomy, Varicose Vein Stripping/Ligation, Vena Cava Ligation, Wedge Resection Ear
