* Seeking a BE/BC General surgeon to join their growing practice.
* Ideal candidate will perform general and MIS surgery plus upper and lower scopes with training/experience in bariatric surgery.
* Applicants should have an interest in growing a community-based general surgery practice.
* Established community practice with 3 surgeons sharing call responsibilities and coverage
* Opportunity for faculty appointment, academic teaching and research collaboration with School of Medicine
* Potential to contribute to the development of a rural surgery residency track with on-site teaching
* Plans for low acuity bariatric surgery center in community hospital as well as possibility of higher acuity cases to be done at ECU Health Medical Center
* Expansion plan includes plans for installation of a DaVinci surgical robot
* Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities

142-bed full-service hospital with an active medical staff of more than 50 physicians representing 20+ specialties, as well as more than 600 nurses, technicians and support staff.
