Seeking BC/BE Surgical Nocturnist to join team in Syracuse, NY
Overview:
- Full-time surgical hospitalist nocturnist position available with immediate availability
- Short-term locum tenens position also available
- Join a growing, premier surgical group consisting of 8 surgeons
- 7pm-7am schedule
- 7 on 7/off
- Position shared between 2-3 hospitalists with some scheduling flexibility
- Highly competitive salary

Responsibilities:
- Average of 170 surgeries per year
- Inpatient consultations
- ER consultations and admissions
- Performing urgent and emergent surgeries during shift
- Providing general surgery coverage for inpatients during shift with available backup
- No inpatient responsibilities at the end of the shift; patients are turned over to daytime surgeons
- Minimal trauma exposure with University Hospital nearby
