Join our dynamic healthcare team in Corpus Christi, TX., at an ACS verified Level II Trauma Center. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Neurosurgeon to lead and support our Acute Neurosurgery Program. As a Neurosurgeon, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive neurosurgical care to patients in a challenging and rewarding environment.

The Neurosurgeon will see all the consults from the ED and inpatient requests, rounding on all the service patients, performing the operations/procedures associated with this group of patients, and of course, seeing them in our outpatient follow up clinic.

Schedule: Full time, 183 24-hour shifts per year

Compensation: $900,000 per year, and any shifts worked beyond 183 are compensated at $4,900 per shift.

Requirements:

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Neurosurgery.
  • Current, unrestricted medical license in the state of Texas
  • Proven experience in neurosurgery with a focus on acute neurosurgical care and trauma surgery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, patients, and their families.
  • Dedication to providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and success of the Acute Neurosurgery Program.
