Seeking a Locums Acute Care Neurosurgery Physician at our ACS verified Level II trauma center/comprehensive stroke center that is very busy. Responsibilities include seeing all the consults from the ED and inpatient requests, rounding on all the service patients, performing operations/procedures associated with this group of patients (head and spine), and of course, seeing them in our outpatient follow up clinic. Currently, the trauma team sees about 1800 activations per year, we expect about 100 neurosurgical operations to start - but this always grows as we bring talent to the area.

• The shifts are 24 hours in duration with a 30-minute response time.
• Full-time employment comes with an annual salary of $820,456 for 182 shifts worked and a robust benefits package to include: health insurance, 401k, annual CME stipend, medical malpractice and tail insurance.
• Additional shifts will be compensated at $4,508/shift
• We have a nearby clinic for follow up care and will be taking elective consults in the coming months.
• You will be supported by an APP from 700am – 300pm M-F.
• There will be a dedicated OR for urgent cases and a first assist will be available.
• We will cover malpractice insurance to include tail coverage.
