We are seeking a skilled Locum Tenens Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon to join our team at a prestigious 974-bed level 1 trauma center in Greenville, NC. This opportunity entails providing comprehensive plastic and reconstructive surgery services, with a focus on plastics, hand, and face surgery.

Greenville is a vibrant city located in the eastern part of North Carolina. It serves as the county seat of Pitt County and is known for its thriving economy, diverse culture, and strong sense of community.

Schedule:

• Coverage needed from 7:00 am Friday to 7:00 am Monday.
• Inpatient coverage only, with no ICU duties or code response required.

Facility Information:

• Located at a leading 974-bed level 1 trauma center in Greenville, NC.
• Strong OR and specialist support available, including trauma, neurosurgery, and general surgery teams.

Procedures Required:

• Complex facial trauma reconstruction (soft tissue and skeletal) for adult and pediatric patients.
• Complex upper extremity trauma reconstruction (soft tissue and skeletal) for adult and pediatric patients.
• Complex lower extremity soft tissue reconstruction for adult and pediatric patients.
• General plastic and reconstructive surgery procedures, including breast and body reconstruction.

Requirements:

• Board certification in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
• Experience and proficiency in performing complex facial, hand, and reconstructive surgery procedures.
