- Primarily Weekend but some weekdays
- 24-hour coverage
- Clinical Details
- 524 bed hospital
- Level II Trauma facility, but operate as a trauma level 1 center
- 100% facial trauma (bony and lacerations)
- Very busy
- Mixture of ENT and Facial Trauma call
- Requirements
- Active SC license
- Active SC CSR and DEA
- DEA must be permanently registered in SC
- Board Certified or Board Eligible - Otolaryngology
- Must be comfortable with Facial Trauma call, including mandibles
- Call
- Call is not in house, can take call from local hotel
- Facial Trauma call is rotated by ENT practice, Plastic Surgery practice, and Oral Surgery practice
- 2-4 consults/day max
- Could be a little more if on facial trauma call
