• Coverage also includes Teays Valley Where employee is expected to cover one clinic a week

Schedule

• Monday and Thursday 7a-5p CALL with call back
• Tuesday and Wednesday 24hr call
• Clinic hours run 8a – 4:30 with call and 2-3 weekends of 24 hour call

Clinical Details

• Patients per day: 22 per day
• Patient population/age: adult and geriatric ranging from 30-90
• COVERAGE ALSO INCLUDES EMPLOYEE IS EXPECTED TO COVER ONE CLINIC A WEEK, SEE CONSULTS, PERFORM MINOR CASES (FISTULAGRAM, IVC FILTER INSERTION/RETRIEVAL, SIMPLE LOWER EXTREMITY ANGIOGRAM IN DEDICATED SPACE AND AVF/AVG IN OR).
• - Take vascular calls, completing inpatient vascular consults, performing cases in the angio suite and OR that need to be completed prior to d/c, performing add-on dialysis cases during the day, and performing urgent/emergent vascular cases in angio suite or

Requirements

• Capabilities to preform basic open and endovascular procedures including lower extremity bypass, mesenteric embolectomy, lower extremity embolectomy, basic vascular exposure in case of trauma, basic endovascular procedures such as angiogram, angioplasty, fistulagram INV insertion, ect.
• Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
• Active WV License
• DEA
• Minimum experience required: 5 years post graduate
• ACLS, BLS, ATLS

Call

• 2-3 Weekends of 24 Hour Call as well as night call
