A health system is seeking a general surgeon for locum tenens coverage.

There will be inpatient, call, nights, and weekends. The clinician is not required to remain on-site while on-call. There are around 50 surgical cases per month, 1 - 2 admissions per day, and 1 - 2 admissions per night. The clinician will not respond to codes or serve as backup in the ER. The procedures include appendectomy, strangulated hernias, cholecystectomy, I&Ds, and procedures that will be emergencies.
