Jackson + Coker is partnered with a northern Virginia facility that needs General Surgery locum tenens call coverage starting in May + ongoing. The client is seeking to arrange coverage on a 7 on, 7 off basis and anticipates needing to split each 7 day stretch with two physicians due to the average/expected high volumes.
Dates of coverage needed:
* All weeks start on Friday at 7AM and end the following Friday at 7AM

--June 21st (0700 – June 28th (0700)
--July 5th (0700) to July 12th (0700)
--July 19th (0700) to July 26th (0700)
--August 2nd (0700) to August 9th (0700)
--August 16th (0700) to August 23rd (0700)
--August 30th (0700) to September 6th (0700)
--September 13th (0700) to September 20th (0700)
--September 27th (0700) to October 4th (0700)
--October 11th (0700) to October 18th (0700)
--October 25th (0700 to November 1st (0700))
--November 8th (0700) to November 15th (0700)
--November 22nd (0700) to November 29th (0700)
--December 6th (0700) to December 13th (0700)

Facility Details + Requirements Assignment #100732:
* Active & unrestricted Virginia license + DEA is required
* Bread & butter General Surgery inpatient coverage (ED)
* Required: full gamut of general surgery + basic laparoscopy + light trauma (not a designated trauma center)
* Strongly preferred (not required): upper/lower scopes, robotics, advanced laparoscopy
* Daily volume averages: 4-10 new consults/day, 2-6 emergent procedures/day; Can anticipate working 8-16 hours per day
* Will work alongside of an NP who will assist with inpatient rounding Monday - Friday
* 100% adult patient population, no peds
* Facility detail: MediTech EMR, 200+ bed facility, not a designated trauma center
