Covenant Medical Group (CMG), the employed physician network of Covenant HealthCare, is seeking two Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurosurgeons, with a preference for Neuro-endovascular training, to join an expanding Neurosciences program at their Saginaw, MI location.

Job Description:
  • The Neurosurgeons will join a team comprised of three Neurosurgeons and four Medical Neurologists, with support from a strong group of Neuroradiologists. The region’s busiest emergency department with about 100,000 visits per year.
  • Ten-bed dedicated Neurotrauma Critical Care Unit.
  • Robust Hospitalist service provides medical consultative support.
  • Post-acute care hospital by Mary Free Bed attached to Covenant HealthCare hospital facilities.
  • As a Primary Stroke Center, Covenant was recently granted the highest award by the American Stroke Association for providing outstanding stroke care.
  • State of the art stroke rehabilitation services are provided through a joint venture partnership between Covenant HealthCare and Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital.
  • The inpatient rehabilitation program is CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities). There are several physiatrists on staff to direct rehabilitation care and neuropsychology consultation service available.
  • Open to H-1B candidates, but cannot accept J-1 waivers
