- Established community practice with 3 surgeons sharing call responsibilities and coverage
- Opportunity for faculty appointment, academic teaching and research collaboration with the Department of Surgery at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine
- Potential to contribute to the development of a rural surgery residency track with on-site teaching at ECU Health Beaufort Hospital
- Ideal candidate will perform general and MIS surgery plus upper and lower scopes with training/experience in bariatric surgery.
- Plans for low acuity bariatric surgery center in community hospital as well as possibility of higher acuity cases to be done at ECU Health Medical Center
- Expansion plan includes plans for installation of a DaVinci surgical robot
- Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities
