General Surgery Permanent Job in South Florida | Work Two Weeks Each Month and Receive a FTE Compensation Package

Jackson + Coker is partnered with a healthcare organization located in south Florida (about 1.5 hours outside of Miami) that is recruiting for a second General Surgeon to join their team. This position is especially unique/attractive due to offering a FTE salary while only needing each surgeon to work for two consecutive weeks out of each month. (Two week on/two week off rotation split by Surgeons). While the client is looking to hire someone on ASAP, they're also willing to wait for the 'right,' surgeon to get a Florida license.

Permanent General Surgery Opportunity #99247:
- Seeking a permanent General Surgeon to join Public Health System in south Florida starting ASAP
- Interested in a surgeon that is comfortable with the full scope of bread & butter general surgery; Laparoscopy, general breast surgery & general GYN surgery preferred (not required)
- This is a full-time opportunity, however, requires for two consecutive weeks of work per month (you do not work every week)
- Will be on call for the entirety of the two weeks that you will work each month. Will also have scheduled outpatient clinic days, outpatient & inpatient surgery days, and see both attached & unattached patients for new consults/follow ups
- Will work in both the inpatient setting & outpatient clinic setting (clinic is attached to the hospital)
- Will have APP support in the clinic setting (not in the OR/surgery setting, however)
- The clinic is a newer addition to the hospital; The facility is open the new surgeon running/using the clinic according to their liking/practice
- Facility houses a strong Family Medicine Residency program (must be open to allowing residents to shadow you & work alongside of you at times)
- Smaller ACH hospital with 65+ beds, Epic EMR, not a designated trauma center – facility also owns their own ground transportation services
