Job Summary:

Portsmouth Regional Hospital is a New Hampshire Trauma Medical Review Committee (TMRC) designated Level II trauma center. We are currently seeking trauma surgeons that can work in a PRN capacity.

Trauma Program:
  • 220-bed Acute Care Facility
  • The only Level II Trauma Center on the seacoast-recently completed ACS verification visit
  • 12-hour primary in-house coverage, plus 12-hour secondary call from home with 30 minute response (rarely called in)
  • Robust regional referral opportunities
  • Busy Emergency General Surgery component
Trauma Criteria:
  • Board Certified in Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Preferred with a clinical focus on ICU
  • ATLS Required
  • 3-5 years experience preferred
