Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a BE/BC General Surgeon to join our team in Albuquerque, NM.

- Full-time general surgery acute care surgeon needed for ISS (inpatient surgery service)
- Inpatient surgical model (all shift work no additional call)
- Cover only one hospital
- Tertiary referral center with busy ER
- Enjoy working with a team of 7 collegial excellent acute care surgeons
- Cover acute and emergent general surgery
- No trauma coverage
- APC first assists in OR
- In depth training and onboarding
- Access to elective surgeons
- Work 15-16 shifts per month length of shift 10-12 hours flexible scheduling
- Censes: 25-30 Patients per shift including 6-10 consults
- Opportunity for extra shifts along with extra pay
- Must be BC/BE in General Surgery
- Outstanding patient care qualities, highly motivated with an interest to grow their practice
- Patient-focused and willing to collaborate and work in a team environment
- Ability to obtain a medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico
