Baptist Health is seeking to recruit one full time general surgeon to join Montgomery Surgical and Trauma Associates, an experienced five surgeon group. This is a hospital employed position that will be primarily based at Prattville Baptist Hospital, a 107 bed acute care hosptial located in Prattville, Alabama. MSTA surgeons use the latest techniques and technology, including minimally invasive surgical options and practice a full spectrum of general surgery cases. Institutional support includes a full team of nurse practitioners and clinical staff. The MSTA group covers general and trauma call coverage for two hospitals. Call requirements vary based on hospital need. Prattville Baptist Hospital was recently honored as a 2022 Women’s Choice Award recipient for Minimally Invasive Surgery and Patient Safety. The successful candidate must have a MD or DO degree, be board eligible or board certified in general surgery and able to obtain and maintain an unrestricted medical and DEA license in the state of Alabama.
