**General Surgeon opportunity in Cass City, Michigan**
Located 100 miles north of Detroit, MI
**Position Details:**
- Expected volume 2,500 - 2,700 patients per year
- Clinic and OR schedule can be set at the preference of the physician
- Clinic located across the street from the Hospital
- Surgeries will be performed at Hills and Dales Hospital in Cass City
- VERY LITTLE TO NO CALL - Physician will be asked to occasionally take calls after hours - they transfer patients after hours or on the weekend
- Opportunities to work with Medical Students
- EMR is Epic
- An NHSC site for Federal Student Loan Repayment
- Covenant Hospital in Saginaw is our Tertiary Center
**Financial Package and Benefits:**
- A base salary of $438,000
- 5,343 wRVUs, $66.33 per wRVU after threshold
- A comprehensive benefit package will be offered
- 40 hours per week/46 weeks per year - 6 weeks to be used as needed for CME, holiday, sick time, vacation time and bereavement, etc.
- $5,000 per year for CME
- Relocation/Sign on Bonus $50,000

- Cass City is a small rural town located about an hour east of Bay City/Saginaw and 1.5 hours north of Detroit, Michigan.
- Has all that nature has to offer, including fishing, hunting, beautiful beaches, kayaking/canoeing, jet skiing, boating and golf to name a few. If you enjoy city life, the nearby Saginaw/Bay area offers a variety of restaurants, shopping centers, and other entertainment.
