**General Surgery opening in Fort Dodge, Iowa**
Located 95 miles from Des Moines

**Position Details:**
- Full-time, permanent position, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
- Established team of 4 physicians and 1 Advanced Practitioner

- Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients and the community
- High-Risk Patient Navigator to support patients throughout their journey
- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
**Responsibilities:**
- Average of 18-20 patients per clinic day
- Shared call amongst the providers; 1:4 call rotation
- Practice one ¬Ω day per week in the Wound Healing Center
- Ability to perform scopes
- Opportunity to provide outreach services

**Qualifications:**
- MD or DO
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Surgery
- Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physicians field of practice
- Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
