Opportunity Overview 
Seeking a General Surgeon physician to join our dynamic medical team at WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV. Your medical expertise will make a meaningful impact on the well-being of our diverse patient community. Come be the best at the best!  
 
Job Details* 

  • Call is currently 1:3 or 10 days a month. Take own practice call. Trauma call is 1:4.
  • Two OR days. Providers work opposite each other so that they're staggered to be in the OR. M-F.
  • Average daily patient volume is 17-22. Patient volume is dependent upon physician. No set guidelines outside of RVU measurement.
  • Each surgeon has 1 APP

Qualifications  

  • MD or DO degree 
  • Will need to obtain a WV state medical license and DEA registration upon hire
  • BE/BC in General Surgery
  • Completed an ACGME-accredited
    residency
