Order X-rays and blood samples when necessary. Create treatment plans and explain options being explored with patient. Ability to assess patients with a variety of aliments related to the hand, wrist and forearm and determine best course of action. Familiarity with common procedures as a hand surgeon including but not limited to: Microvascular surgery, Arthritis surgery, Reconstructive wrist surgery, Peripheral nerve surgery and trauma surgery of the hand and wrist. Analyze results to create treatment plan that best fits every unique situation. Running diagnostic tests with patients to get further information and modify treatment plan as necessary. Provide clinical care to patients in accordance to regulations to include but not limited to obtaining patient history, ordering labs, diagnostic studies, uphold excellent bedside manners and ability to create a great patient experience. Document patient care services by charting and maintaining records in EPIC. Attend departmental meetings and professional training sessions as requested. Adhere and have knowledge of HIPPA. Communicate effectively with fellow providers and medical staff to coordinated care.
