**Orthopedic Surgery - Shoulder Surgery opening: Augusta, ME**
Located 55m to Portland
**Position Details**
- Full-time, permanent
- Affiliated medical practice, provides medical services to patients in an assigned area
- Recruiting a well-trained, BC/BE orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in Shoulder & Elbow Surgery to join a multi-specialty orthopaedic practice.
- Medical Group currently has a surgeon whose practice has become primarily shoulder surgery including both soft tissue reconstruction and arthroplasty. He is retiring this year and Group is looking for a fellowship trained surgeon to take over a well established busy shoulder practice.
**Additional Details**
- Hospital-employed, 10 surgeon group with fellowship training in sports medicine, hand surgery, joint replacement, spine surgery, foot and ankle surgery, orthopaedic trauma and also has a podiatry division.
- Additionally there is a non-operative sports medicine fellowship consisting of five fellowship trained non-operative sports medicine physicians and two fellows annually.
- There is a great opportunity for teaching and education with the fellows and the family practice residents.
- The selected candidate will join the general Ortho call pool with 9 other surgeons allowing for a great work-life balance!
