The General Surgery locum tenens opportunity in Oregon…

-Location: Columbia River, OR (90 minutes northwest of Portland)

-Duration: October – January (potential for extension)

-Schedule: 2-4 weeks per month (clinic, OR, and call)

-Clinic hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

-Surgery schedule: 7:30am-3pm (varies with OR schedule)

-Call: 8 to 10 days (7am-7am) plus providing back up call for the Fellow (around 10 call as back up)

-Procedures: Bread & butter, Breast surgery & biopsy, colonoscopy, laparoscopic, endoscopy

-Scope: Clinic, OR, Call

-EMR: Cerner

-Hospital: 25 bed critical access facility

-Requirements: Active Oregon License, Board Certified or Board Eligible
