BC/BE General Surgeon needed to replace a surgeon leaving the community in spring/summer 2014. Coverage will be 1:2 with another local GS. Bread & Butter general surgery. Employed position. This FAST growing community is located about 40 minutes south of San Antonio on I-35. The local community encompasses two towns (for a community population of about 15,000). The county, which pretty much represents the hospitals primary service area, has a population approaching 50,000. This community is NOT a suburb of San Antonio, but rather a semi-rural community with very easy interstate access to all San Antonio has to offer. Were looking for someone interested in living in and being part of the local community, not someone wanting to commute from a home in San Antonio.
